The 2025 vintage in the Clare Valley was marked by a warm, very dry season that led to one of the earliest harvests on record. Below-average rainfall in winter and spring meant soil moisture was limited, setting up an accelerated growing season with budburst ahead of schedule.
Harvest began very early - Riesling was picked the first week in February - and the season closed quickly due to the compressed ripening window.
