  • The 2025 vintage in the Clare Valley was marked by a warm, very dry season that led to one of the earliest harvests on record. Below-average rainfall in winter and spring meant soil moisture was limited, setting up an accelerated growing season with budburst ahead of schedule.

    Harvest began very early - Riesling was picked the first week in February - and the season closed quickly due to the compressed ripening window. While overall yields were below average, growers are particularly optimistic about fruit quality and enthusiasts will likely view 2025 as a year of 'quality over quantity'.
